On Tues. March 16th at 4:30pm in Room 175, our Federalist Society chapter will host a debate between Alan Gura and UO Law Professor Ofer Raban on the jurisprudence of McDonald v. City of Chicago (2010)—”The Chicago Gun Case”.
One week ago, Mr. Gura argued McDonald before the United States Supreme Court. McDonald is the first such lawsuit since the landmark Supreme Court ruling in District of Columbia v. Heller (2008)—a case which Mr. Gura successfully briefed and argued.
